In 1886, Mr. Kram struck it rich with a mine in the foothills of Colorado. With his fortune, he constructed a mansion in Denver to flaunt his newly found wealth. He soon found a wife — who surely could have been his daughter. He soon began to suspect infidelity and that she only married him for his money. He hid fortune somewhere in the basement of the house and took his own life. Little did he know that his wife was carrying his child. Kram’s wife died giving birth to their child, Emily, who grew up in the Denver mansion alone. Though the mansion has changed hands several times, Emily’s spirit still resides within the walls.
