Room 1: The Director's First Cut
Step into the video store where The Director's obsession began, a place filled with the horror films that shaped his twisted idea of what cinema should be.
Psycho. The Silence of the Lambs. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
To most people, they're horror films. To The Director, they're an obsession: stories he has watched, studied, and dissected countless times. Behind them all stands Ed Gein, the disturbing real-life figure whose crimes helped inspire these cinematic nightmares. To The Director, Gein left behind more than a legacy of horror; he left behind the blueprints, the inspiration, the methods, and the raw material The Director believes he needs to create his own masterpiece.
To The Director, watching horror isn't enough. He believes true horror requires method acting: becoming the character, thinking like them, and making the choices they would make. Now, he's decided to give you the opportunity to experience that process firsthand.
Unfortunately, you didn't audition for this role.
